Exciting News (But Late!)

I received a rather surprising  Christmas present. We were sitting round the tree when two of my grandchildren handed me a big cardboard envelope.

“Lovely- I bet it is one of his beautiful drawings”, I thought as I ripped the package open to find… the Guinness Certificate!! 

Dumbfounded, I stared at it. I had quite given up hope of getting into the Guinness World Records! Perhaps someone even older had beaten me to it, or all my problems with the Garmin had somehow disqualified me (I did not distinguish myself by my competence with a Satnav).  

Anyway it seemed the certificate arrived more than a month ago but Pascal hid it away to be a Christmas surprise and it was!    

Looking at it brought back memories of those days of  freedom and happiness being on the road. I’m still looking forward to planning my next trip – and my donation pages are still open if you want to donate!
